Our Annual Winter Invitational is fast approaching! The Stone Crabs Winter Invitational has been very successful in the past, and we look forward, once again, to hosting a fun, competitive, quality swimming event.
Volunteering at the 6th Annual Stone Crabs Winter Invitational
In order to make this year's invitational a true success, we need everyone's help: swimmers, siblings, and even parents! We know that everyone is busy gearing up for the holidays - and what better way to celebrate the holiday spirit than volunteering at our Winter Invitational? We need volunteers for set-up and clean-up, timers, hospitality, awards . . . .
This is a great way for our swim families to share their time, talents, and maybe even a little treasure to give their swimmers a fun, competitive day or quality swimming, right in our own "home" pool!
We especially encourage any SIBLINGS in need of COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS to volunteer! In the past, participants have found that voluteering at our Winter Invitational is a fun, interesting and rewarding way to earn those much-needed community service hours, and Coach Stone is more than happy to sign community service participation forms for any middle or high school students who volunteer.
As of Sunday, November 1, we are still in need of more day-of-meet volunteers! To see how YOU can help make this year's meet the best one yet, please see the below sign-up list. All positions still in need of volunteers are marked with a not-so-subtle "YOU?!" - please consider signing up for one of these positions. One of the highlights of the Stone Crabs Winter Invitation is the exceptional quality (and quantity!) of our awards. THESE AWARDS ARE DIRECTLY FUNDED BY SPONSORSHIPS AND ADVERTISING! In the past, we have been able to award MEDALS for 1st-6th place, and RIBBONS for 7th-12th place in ALL individual events, and have presented Age Group HIGH POINT awards for 1st-6th place - this number of awards means that significantly more swimmers will go home with medals or ribbons than in many (if not most!) sanctioned invitationals!
The awards MUST be ordered by NOVEMBER 25th - it is imperative that all meet sponsors, advertisers and event sponsors turn in their sponsorhip forms and payment by then. Please place all sponsorship forms, with payment attached, in the Swim Box.

The Stone Crabs Winter Invitational is open to all Stone Crabs swimmers! With all the awards, camaraderie and FUN we have planned, our one-day, two-session meet is sure to be a positive experience for Stone Crabs swimmers of all ages and abilities - if your swimmer is ready to compete in a dual meet, then they're ready to compete in our invitational - so sign them up!
